Oakland’s rising soul folk band, Tumbleweed Wanderers, released a new song, ‘Worn Down Welcome’, this past Wednesday. The song begins with a more mellow folk-rock style, with a warm swing touch in the center. Definitely a light-hearted fun tune not to pass up on by these guys, who playfully label themselves as a “hair folk” band.
Tumbleweed Wanderers’ start began just from busking outside popular music venues throughout the Bay Area for over two years. Their hard work is paying off – they’ve already played for Outside Lands and will soon be playing at SXSW and the SnowBall Music Festival.
